Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters has held crucial talks with the TAB this week and was delighted to announce a new policy which sees all New Zealanders credited with $5 to place on any 4-legged multi over the weekend.
Winston, who spent the week conducting ‘field research’ at the Manukau greyhounds, has always had a special place in his heart for gambling and wanted to really leave a legacy for all New Zealanders as he starts to think about retirement.
“Honestly half the stuff I do week in, week out is meaningless and I just really wanted to give back to the communities that have kept me in power for so long. I see them in the TAB all weekend and for me this is just a big thank you to them, and the rest of the country who has put up with me for so long”
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has backed Italy 1-12 over the All Blacks, Pakistan to beat the Black caps, the silver ferns to never win a world cup again and the Wellington Phoenix to grab the wooden spoon.
