Tony Veitch Replaces Staircase In His House With A Waterslide

Sports broadcaster Tony Veitch has replaced the main staircase in his house with a waterslide.

Veitch told Thai Castle “The staircase has always been pretty dangerous and troublesome so I decided to replace it with a water slide.”

Veitch will pay $10,000/month to maintain the slide and hopes it will help him attract new friends and a special lady into his life.

“I am newly single but feel like I have a lot to offer. This slide will help showcase who I am becoming and be a lot of fun for the Tinder dates I bring home”

Veitch is even considering picking up an endorsement deal with the slide creator Slides-R-Us who are planning a marketing campaign around the benefits of using water slides over staircases in homes.

“The partnership is really exciting for me personally. I am all about keeping kiwi homes safe. We think replacing dangerous staircases with slides in homes around the country is a beautiful step towards making NZ a better place to live.”
