Kieran Read finds four-leafed clovers during All Blacks thrashing of Italy

Hot off the heels of the All Blacks convincing win this morning against Italy, there was one player who didn’t really contribute to the game.

Kieran Read, All Black legend, cult hero, man of mana, bookworm, and good friend of Winston Peters, has told our reporters in Italy of some of the issues he faced during the game today.

“Yea, look guys, please don’t tell anyone this, but since the loss to Ireland Ive been cursed. Seriously, every field I play, every train, every walk I go on, I can’t help but notice 4 leafed clovers. I think I’m going absolutely crazy.

Take this morning for example, I managed to find 76 of them. I stuffed them all in my sock and I took them into the changing room with me. Honestly, that loss to Ireland has really fucked me up. I don’t really know what to do…. Oh look another one”

Kieran then slowly traipsed off to the field to pick up his 77th four-leafed clover of the day.
